How to Tuesday - Knitted Phone Case

Tuesday is DIY day!

To fit my {new, hurrah!} Samsung Galaxy SIII, my darling mum very kindly knitted me this case/sock. It would also fit an iPhone, iPod etc.

The pattern is from Simply Knitting magazine, May 2011 edition page 52, but the photos are all mine which explains their poor quality. New camera on the Xmas list.

You will need:
Double knitting wool
3 1/2 mm needles

Abbreviations:
LT = Left Twist
RT = Right Twist

Pattern:
Cast on 20stitches using 3.5mm needles. Work 4 rows garter stitch.

Repeat these 16 rows four times, or to fit.
Work 4 rows garter stitch
Cast off
To Make up:
Fold in half, right sides facing and sew up the sides. Turn right way out.
And you're done!

That's the problem with a new phone - the cases are boring for the first couple of months as manufacturers haven't caught up yet! My lovely knitted on does the job just fine for now though :)

Lots of I really should join the WI love, L x
